Fast forward about five months and that brings us to May 26th where
I plotted and planned to have Jen go on an hour and a half long
scavenger hunt of romantic places we had been on dates and such leaving
her clues at each of the places.
Travis (my brother) chauffeured her around in my dad's car making sure she got everywhere safely and right on time! at 5:15 Jen arrived at the Loch Lloyd Country Club where she and I met and in the lobby where I first laid eyes on here, in front of our close family (having formed a wall so she couldn't see me)
Proverbs 31:25-31 was read aloud to Jen as she started to realize what was happening and began to cry, then at the end of verse 31 every one parted down the middle to reveal me and I stepped forward and took her hands quoting Proverbs 31:10 saying "An excellent wife, who can find, for her worth is far beyond rubies [and diamonds including this one]!
Then my future brother in law Matt Bayne handed me the ring box, and I took a knee and asked Jen to marry me, and she wasted no time saying Yes quickly! After everything caught up with her we moved out back to Jen's parents house for an engagement party, then she and I had some alone time together and a late dinner at La Bodega!
